Intellectual Property and Technology

Intellectual property (or "IP") is a category of property that encompasses intangible creations of the human intellect, including copyrights, patents, and trademarks.

It also includes other types of rights such as trade secrets, publicity rights, moral rights, and rights against unfair competition. Artistic works such as music and literature, as well as discoveries, inventions, words, phrases, symbols, and drawings, can be protected as intellectual property.

Trade secret misappropriation differs from violations of other intellectual property laws since trade secrets, by definition, are kept confidential, while patents, registered copyrights, and trademarks are publicly available. Our specialists continuously work in this industry and have successfully completed numerous projects involving the registration of intellectual property rights, including trade/service marks and utility model (Patent) rights.

We have also been involved in drafting agreements for the transfer of intellectual property rights in the film industry. Most of our team members have undergone advanced training in the field of intellectual property rights protection and continues litigation process in this field of law.
